Brian's mom, Jackie, has a cute pet name for him, it's Baby Duck, isn't that adorable?! (Not that he looks like a duck, doe he?)
After their first tour, Brian went home and listened to his TV for 24 hours. (Why? Nevermind, I choose not to question.)
You know this one...he sleeps on his $50 waterbed at home, yada yada yada. The real issue is that there's no one next to him...yet:)
Brian priced possessions include his custom made B-Rok necklace and a diamond encrusted cross he bought for $2,000. (Wouldn't you just die if he gave themto you?)
Brian's first kiss was with a redhead in third grade, she was three years older.(Oooooohh, naughty boy...)
His mom, Jackie, is a dental secretary, and his dad, is in computers.
He once said that his dream vacation would be to take his parents to Australia or Hawaii.
Brian likes going to the movies, shopping at the mall, and playing all kinds of sports, especially basketball. (No really...)
Speaking of basketball, did you know that Brian has tried several times to play in his high school's basketball team but never made it because he was considered to be "too short"? Later however, he announced that "Even though I am not accepted, but I realize none of them can sing as well me..." (Yeah, you go boy! Look at him today!)
Brian's first music experience was at church. He not only sang in gospel harmonizing groups but also worked later as a wedding co-ordinator there. "One of those people that arranges everything." (I think those couples lived happily ever after after don't you?)
He's worked in fast foods and he recalls an earlier job in a fish store.
Brian has never gotten one singing lesson in his life but still manages the most incredible voice in BSB. He also plays the trumpet, guitar, and um...bongos. (Now that...ladies and gentlemen, is what I call true talent)
Brian often tries to stop biting his fingernails because he thinks it's embarassing for girls to see him with them as he signs autographs. (Don't worry, B-Rok, no one's perfect. Besides, those girls are probably too psyched about getting your signature and staring at your face.)
Nick and Brian usually share a hotel room when they're on the road, but AJ used to be his roomate. According to AJ, they "party our little butts off." Let's have a party...)
Brian is a happy, open person, a ham. But he is also very deep. He is known to be peaceful but also has a crazy, secret wild side. (Multiple personalities...that should explain it)
According to the other BSB, Brian keeps his room the messiest. (So can he actually find the bed to sleep on at night?)
Brian is supposedly the shy guy in the group, but never backs away from the spotlights when he's on stage. (Now we wouldn't want that now, would we?
Everyone thinks Brian is the one to get married first. (That's nice, and how many years have they been saying this?)
Brian is most likely the Backstreet Boy to go to church on Sunday. After all, his faith in religion holds no boundaries.
Brian wrote "That's What She Said." (Well, it's only been announced about a million times.)
He loves Australia out of all the countries he's traveled.
Kevin called him out of history class and he was the last to join the group. (I can't imagine why, after all, history is soooooo exciting.)
He is a godfather.
Brian feels that it is important to write their own music.
He wants to be sensible with money so he can live well and take care of the ones that he loves. (Very considerate.)
And here's an example that he bought his mother a piano, which she always wanted and could play but never could quite afford it.
His dream girl should have appealing eyes, open, interested in a career. Confident, knows what she wants in life and is willing to work hard to get it. Likes sports and working out. Have a fit body, not too overweight. And if possible although completely not necessary, have blond hair and blue eyes, and most of all be themselves. (Hmmmm. Let's see. I like him and am willing to work hard for him. Learn to play basketball. Exercise. And hair dye and color contacts. That should do it.)
He once performed in church in front of 3,000 people, when he was 5!
Fans have once ripped apart his newly bought baseball cap, (causing him to throw it at them and yell, "Here, you want it?!)and given him scratches on his neck for that B-Rok necklace (which he fought for). Pushed too far, huh?
Now for abit of grim info- For those of you who live under a rock, Brian has had a heart murmur and staph infection, causing him to need a surgery when he was little. He had to miss most of first grade. Not only that,but his high fevered body was put in a tub of ice and his heart actually stopped. His family was told to go with funeral arrangements. But then Brian's mother decided to leave it up to God, instead of wanting to keep him so much. Her faith and courage must have touched him deeply because it is a true miracle that Brian survived.
Now that he's 23, he just recuperated from elective heart surgery, which closed the hole in his heart. He actually had to put it off for a few years because he wanted to be with the band, obviously that did not make his family happy. (What a nice guy, reposibility towrard his group and all...)
Brian describes himself as hyper, funny, athletic, crazy, sweet, and nice. (I could add a few more, can't you?)
He loves his fans and siging, it has always been a dream for him, being able to perform. And now BSB has been able to make it a dream come true for him.
Brian finds relaxation at home when he hits the road too often, he goes to his room when he wants to be alone. He's actually cried a few times when seeing his family after some time. (Sentimental...mama's boy:)
As you probably know, his best friend in the group is Nick, and his cousin is Kevin (Oh geez what a shock to all of us)
He sings lead in most romantic songs that are slow and seductive.
Most of all, though, despite all the fame, money, and girls, he is your average, normal, next door guy. And I think that's a comforting thing to know. It shortens so much distance even when you can be miles apart.
